DIY soap jar

I can’t take credit for this idea, I saw it on re.cycle, re.purpose, and
Recycle a glass jar into a soap dispenser, awesome, it’s simple, beautiful and green … could we ask for more?

I used a jar of jam, I made a hole in the lid with a cutter. I glued the neck of the plastic jar soap on the cover and I painted silver. I filled with soap and screwed the dispenser. And finally I put a cute label.
It looks so nice! Gonna have to eat more jam to save jars!

It can be a bit of a pain getting stubborn labels off and taking away heavy odors. There's certainly the soak and scrub method that sometimes work but stubborn labels and odors sometimes require more.
