Arggg scorpions!!! We also have some here, but I never saw any in the house (fingers crossed). I'm now in the stage two of the project: educate the kids to put them shoes into the storage basket, instead of throwing them across the hallway!

I'm always afraid one may have crawled into a shoe, but this keeps shoes out of harm's way. Also easier to sweep the floor without having to move shoes. Great design!
