This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Regency Shop. All opinions are 100% mine.

Having a nice and personalized home is a daily work. You know that I love to post DIY and affordable projects on the blog. I always emphasize simple, modern and practical decor. Today I’ll talk about Regency Shop, a furniture online store. They have a wide selection of 20th century furniture. Don’t hesitate to have a look, they offer a large range of good quality replica of design icons. I fully agree that the budget is different than for a DIY, but we’re not talking about the same thing. Classic design furniture are timeless and will remain a centerpiece in your decor. If you want to invest some money in a design icon,  you need to have a look at those three seats option.

The egg chair

Designed in 1958 by Arne Jacobsen for the Radisson hotel in Copenhagen, the egg chair is one of the recognizable chair of the 20th century. The seat and back are made with a molded shell covered with a layer of foam. It’s hold by a sturdy 4-star metallic base.  As finishing cover material you can choose between several color of fabric and leather. The egg chair is the perfect addition to give some style and an extra seat to your living room. You can also use it in your bedroom to create a cosy reading nook.

The chesterfield sofa

The origin about the name and the creation of the chesterfield sofa design remain a mystery. But everyone agree to say that it becomes a design icon. The chesterfield sofa has at the same time, an old fashioned and timeless look. It’s curvy and cosy, we may as well imagine it in an old mansion than in a modern interior. It’s characterized by the buttons that strews the back and gives it its unique look. We use to see it in brown leather, but if you like a jazzy and colored version various fabric are also available.

The Ibiza chair

The chair is inspired by the Barcelona chair, created in 1928 by Mies van der Rohe and Lilian Reich. It was first designed for the German pavilion of the international exposition in 1929. It becomes since one of the most recognized object of the modern movement, whose motto was “form follows function”. We must admit that almost 100 years later, the design did not aged and still perfectly integrate our contemporary interiors.  The characteristic crossed feet and the frame are made out of one piece stainless frame. The seat and the back are two tufted leather cushion. The classic and modern Ibiza chair will fit as well in an office than in your home.
