I have no idea if its toxic or not…but I did eat them ;). I guess it depends on the paint you use, you may found information on the label. Some acrylic paints are food safe.

Or maybe you can find some paintable eggs at the craft store! I have to say that my kids have a lot of fun breaking those little babouchka, do I have to worry??? 😉
