DIY easy wall art

I saw this amazing wall art on pinterest and I thought it was possible to make a DIY version of it. I didn’t use frames, but it’s a good option if you want something with a better finish look.
You gonna need, white ledger paper, black cardboard, a black sharpie, a pencil and a set square.

Dispose the sheets same way as you want them on the wall, leave a space between each. Draw with the pencil the number or letter you like. Rewrite the lines with the sharpie.

Trace as many lines as necessary to fill the shape.

Now you need to make the background.  Choose a different line direction that the ones in your number or letter. And fill every sheet with lines, all in the same direction.

Glue your drawing on a black cardboard and hang it on the wall. I just used double face tape.

If you want to know why I choose 21, it’s because my daughter, my father and my grandmother are all three born on January 21st! It’s definitely a special number for us!
If you are looking for an other paper wall art, take a look at the leaves tutorial!

I also made those Star cushion and this funny grey cushion, the planter is also a recycled DIY.
