1. Star Ornament from Egg Cartons
To make a star ornament, start by cutting out 4 tips (or pyramidal shapes) out of the egg carton and 2 cups (the part where the eggs are placed).
Place the 2 cups in front of each other and attach them with tape. If you have masking tape is even better, so the paint will cover it. This will make the center of the ornament.
Then glue each of the 4 tips to the center to form the first part of the star. You must end up with a four-pointed star.
Take the lid of the egg carton and cut 4 rectangles in it. The width of the rectangle is the same as the star tip, and the length is twice the tip. Fold the rectangle and trim the long edges.
Glue the lid rectangle in between the star points. You now have an 8-pointed star.
Paint with acrylic or spray paint any festive color you like. You can add a touch of glitter for extra sparkle.
Once the paint is dry, fix a ribbon on one tip and hang the star ornament on your Christmas tree.
